Advising Student Athletes: What Advisors Need to Know

This session will bring representatives from the Dodie Anderson Academic Enrichment Center for Student-Athletes at USC to discuss current trends and requirements for student-athletes. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of the student-athlete population and their unique academic needs as it relates to advising and student support.
- Develop a basic understanding of current trends and rules that contribute to student-athlete academic decisions
- Learn how athletic academic advisors can assist you to best support student-athletes
- Understand the role of an athletic academic advisor
