Thu, Oct 24, 2024, 12:00 – 1:00 PM EDT
UAC, Close Hipp 3rd Floor and Microsoft Teams (in-person & online option)
The REACH Act (Founding Documents requirement) requires all undergraduate students in South Carolina to complete coursework that covers the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and other foundational American texts. For students with transfer credit, this mandate can affect the evaluation and acceptance of transfer credits, as students may need to take additional courses to meet the REACH Act requirements. The training will provide the opportunity for understanding the changes to USC's Founding Documents and its impact to academic advising.
