Excel for Beginners

This training will go over the basics of what you need to know to get started with Excel and build confidence. This workshop will teach you introductory terms, tips, and ways to use Excel to your advantage in advising. We will also use EAB Navigate to run a report of students on your caseload and manipulate that in Excel to build your own advising workbook. Please bring a laptop.
Outcomes:
- Be able to run a report of your caseload in EAB Navigate and convert it to your own advising workbook.
- Format Excel workbooks using basic tools such as inserting columns & rows, sorting, and filtering.
- Learn beginner-level terms and tips in Excel.
