The Experiential Learning in Advisement series is intended to provide advisors with an understanding of and the tools to have meaningful conversations with advisees about experiential learning opportunities.
These trainings will be 45-minutes, remote via Teams.
This session will feature Peer Leadership and will cover the following:
- Brief introduction/overview of the Leadership and Service Center and Peer Leadership opportunities for USC students.
- How advisors can effectively discuss the benefits and outcomes of a peer leadership opportunity with students.
- How advisors can effectively discuss skill/competency development through a peer leadership experience and how it can enhance their academic and career readiness.
